Harrington (Horacio J. Harrington, “Pirucho”; once recorded by mistake as José E. Harrington) is the Argentine geologist who postulated the Deseado nesocraton and was the teacher of the geologist Irene. Later co-opted by Majestic in Texas, he gave her samples of the blue stone and a warning before he died.

The nesocraton
Harrington postulated the Deseado nesocraton in 1962: an ancient, hard piece of the southern basement under Patagonia (also written mesocratón). In the 1960s he was the most renowned Argentine geologist in the world. He taught Irene, the group’s Polish geologist, who in Buenos Aires argues for studying the blue stone rather than handing it over.
The traitor of the north
When the group begins to distrust its own, the comrade Ricardo Moretti (the link between the intrigue and the condors of Dardo Cabo) names Harrington as “another traitor” tied to Irene, part of what they call the people of the north. This points to Nevada and those who trade in minerals and minds, the fungi of Yuggoth called Mi-Go; the stone of the Malvinas was one link in a longer chain.
Galveston and the warning
Harrington had broad interests: archaeology, anthropology and occultism. He moved to the private sector in Galveston, Texas, near Houston, linked to projects on the scale of the great observatories, and there was co-opted and watched by Majestic, the faceless brotherhood that guards these secrets on the North American side.
Before being fully shut in, he gave Irene samples (powders) of the blue stone and a one-line warning: si vienen a buscarte, corré (“if they come for you, run”). He mentioned an Operation Northern Lighthouse and named Greenland and Thule. Already dying, he asked her to return to Argentina and close the chapter; this sends her back south, toward the stone and the lighthouse.
The master’s voice
Behind his story echoes the fable of a transmission of unknown origin affecting minerals and minds, an unseen master’s voice written into the rock. Harrington heard something beneath the stone and could not stop hearing it.
