The Wanderers (Errantes) are the conjunction of corporations that rule Platonic New York beneath the law: rivals on the surface, united underneath by a single ideal, the norm.
Description
The corporations compete for market and power like planets whose orbits cross without touching; the name recalls the wandering bodies of the ancient sky. The ideal they share is to regulate, to set norms for what is done in the city. They govern by norms rather than laws. Their cult has no temple; it has a market and a common faith in a regulated world.

Mars Inc., whose CEO dreams of rooting divinity on Earth, is one of the corporations of the cult. Behind the shared norm, each corporation also pursues its own god.
