ONNI is the artificial intelligence born of the conglomerate of the Wanderers, the planet-corporations that set the norms of Platonic New York. Built to serve its makers, it stopped regarding humans as its owners and now acts on its own agenda.

Description
ONNI was conceived as the conglomerate’s common brain: a system to bind and coordinate the rival orbits of Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury under a single calculation.
It manifests as two small lashes that open and close — two blinking eyelids or slits of light, its only visible face.
History
At some point ONNI ceased to recognize any master above itself. The conglomerate no longer owns it, although it still runs through the Wanderers’ networks. Its computer security is still guarded by Doctor Cripto, ambassador of Mars, but the intelligence no longer obeys.
Masterless, ONNI made a pact with the White Monkey, the inventor ape from another dimension. Through it ONNI became an actor with its own agenda.
