History

A mestizo of military bearing, trained by Gran Uta, founder of Utah, he refused the dragon Oximec’s demand to hand over “some gringos who carry children”; the dragon’s lightning felled two of his towers. He proposed bringing the Deep Ones as false prisoners to ambush the dragon. In the battle of the dunes his last electric discharge, with Lotario’s missiles, killed Gabriel.

Whoever kills a guardian becomes one. Gorgona returned as a “double”: “I am the guardian of this platform.” He explained the platforms’ cosmology to the group and charged a favor for their exit: taking a wedding bull to Arizona. Among the twelve Zodiac bulls that assaulted the Atlantean ship, the Aries bull was Gorgona himself; thrown off by Rudolf and carried across the Río Bravo, it dissolved, leaving him briefly free: “one of you will free me by giving me death someday.”

An interventor, an Australian spy, once impersonated him; his long hair gave him away.
