Snow Queen (Torregrises) is the guardian of the eastern half of the First Platform, opposite Arcacto. A powerful sorceress, she rules with ice storms. She lives on the cliffs of the highest peak, behind coniferous forests where her white wolves with hearts of ice dwell.
“Her icy cry is felt during the nights, and all the hearts of this cold region stop beating until dawn” (Gray Cosmogony). A secret police patrols the settlements, and the faithful find posts of privilege.
Cold as a cosmic force pervades all of Torregrises; the Queen is its most direct personification.
