The Icarus Agency is a special-operations foundation in Platonic New York that works outside official channels and recruits the crew sent after the ambrosia.

Description
Where the Liberty League is the public, uniformed arm of surveillance (the Owls who patrol by day), the Agency works with greater freedom: less bound by law, choosing its own targets and going where the League cannot or will not.
It claims descent from the lineage of Daedalus and Icarus, linking it to Daedalus, the Doctor of Light who watches from the Icarus station in orbit.
Activities
The Agency recruits heroes: its call gathers the crew and sets them on the trail of the ambrosia. Colonel Jackson keeps the field accounts: mission tallies, the capsules opened in the Alaskan ice, and compromising photographs linking the Mars ring with Doc Monroe’s defense minister.
