Icarus is a space station orbiting this Earth, watching not the planet but the void from which danger could come.

Purpose
Its vigil has a precise target: possible incursions of Terminus, the threat that prowls the edges of the world. While Platonic New York is watched over by time guardians and corporations, Icarus watches the entire sky, as the first ring of defense before anything touches the surface.
Name
The station is named after Icarus, the son of Daedalus, the artificer father. The name echoes melted wax and a flight that fell from the sky for approaching the sun.
