Medieval Vala is the intermediate phase of the world Vala, between Ancient Vala (the foundational phase) and Ardis Vala (the present cycle). The archive declares Vala the first world, the base of what happens afterward in Medieval Vala and Ardis Vala.
The phase moves Vala into a medieval key, probably as an articulation between the cosmological world of Ancient Vala and the geography of the Ardis Vala megadungeon.
