Calefa is the goddess of funerary cults and of the moral power of the necropolises in the Empyrean cult of Medieval Vala. Her priests perform the region’s funeral rites in a civilization that cremates so the soul may transcend.

Description
Whoever holds funerary rights also holds what the dead leave: mourning and fortune are one file.
Her plate shows the golden wheel, the eclipsed sun (a black disc with a burning corona), the raven on the apex and the cat asleep on a clerk’s open ledger; a pyre burns a shrouded body on the left, accounts are kept on the right.
Role
A clinician doctor of the inquisition, priest of both Calefa and Ammonar, received a body that could not go to just any temple; he both consoles and burns, and judges whether the body is still a corpse.
What is buried instead of burned — such as the barrows east of Helix — lies outside her law, and what comes out of it is Ammonar’s problem.
