Tower Ob Caligni is a place in Vala at the darkest end of the arc of the Wordbreakers: both a structure and a force, the name of a place and of what dwells there.

Description
The Caligni are creatures of mist and subterranean darkness. Their name carries the Latin caligo, the mist that prevents sight. The tower concentrates that principle and turns it into a fortress.
History
The archive records four major confrontations around the Tower. The last closed the entire Wordbreakers cycle in Vala. At the threshold of that closing, Belial burst in from outside, as if the travelers’ victory had drawn a greater power. Nancon’s personal nemesis is rooted here.
An emissary of Nyarlathotep is mentioned among the Tower’s shadowy pinnacles, connecting the enclave with planes outside the Vala orb.
Open questions
- The Tower is related to the Black Egg, but whether it contains, seeks or produced it is not specified.
