Nyarlathotep is a Lovecraftian entity of the New World, associated with an obsidian knife and with “gate and key”. In Ancient Vala it acts through an emissary. “Gate and key” probably refers to Yog-Sothoth, who is also named in Les Libertateurs (New York, 1784).

In Ancient Vala

The emissary whispers from beyond the threshold and is said to see the world whole, from outside. It is the voice beside [[en/Aclo_(idioma)y_Magia_Salvaje|Aclo]], the language beyond the veil, and is tied to the pinnacle of shadows. Its shadow follows Nancon, the Wordbreaker barbarian who speaks Aclo only in frenzy, and guides him when the border of the visible world thins. It acts as messenger of the Other Gods, near the shadow world touched by [[en/Belial(Vala)|Belial]] in Ur-Draxa. Namesake voices in other cycles of the orb are not the same entity.
