Miles Corp (“Miles”) is an industrial-magical company of Star City specializing in magical flight. Its signature product is the Miracle of Miles, an enchanted flying broom.

History
It was founded, or grew fast, with the acceleration of the Magical Industrial Revolution after 1812 AE. By 1824 AE its brooms circulate among the wealthy.
Products
- Flying brooms, still in development but sold to well-off customers. Tony Malatesta of La Jabalina owns one.
- Miles-brand flying devices, requested from Caldero by Lord Valanthru and/or Tittiframe for their industrial-mechanical plans.
- Possibly small aircraft, flying backpacks and other arcane vehicles.
Social role
Most customers are rich: those who can pay fly above the crowds, most cannot. City Star Magazine called Tony’s broom “a symbol of magical-industrial progress” while asking whether it was “one more way for the elites to control power”. The company answers with marketing, not a change of model.
Cosmological status
It is a minor cosmological figure of the industrial-magical pole. If the dark papacy of the Borg Popes produces an industrial-magical Borg Pope, Miles Corp and its brooms could serve it commercially and logistically.
