Delgrante is an illustrious sorcerer of Torregrises, owner of one of the perimeter towers that give the city its name, and a former ally of the Sacred Order, to which he traded arcane relics of the Previous Age for elven knowledge. A retired adventurer, he has a wife, a five-year-old son and older children by other women.

Fall

The alliance ended when he fell under the influence of the Artifact, a cylinder with a central needle that seemed alive. In the rose gardens of Palia, during an encounter with the guardian elves, the Artifact “stood up” pointing at the sky, his hand was driven onto the needle and his voice mingled with a demon’s throat. The explosion left almost no bodies; the Artifact was unharmed, having drunk every last drop of blood. In the final descent he is seen old, naked and moaning on the desolate plain at the bottom of the demonic pit.

His fall triggers the mission of the “4 A”: tracking the apprentices who carried his antiquities and fled. Dietrus suspects he fell victim to the schemes of the hired killers of Sabas and of the creatures below.
