Celemna is an outcast or hermit, the guardian of Palia, the rose gardens east of Torregrises. A former member of the Sacred Order, she wields an enormous scimitar and allies herself with the elven cause. Her mother was a Liosalfar.
She controls the underground access to Palia, defended by traps. She guards the passage of the naga Riah and, after the fall of Cuatia, reconciles with Dietrus.
She witnessed the death of the brothers of Arian, which fixes her commitment to the “4 A” and Dietrus. Her testimony to them opens the mystery of the Artifact: from the promontory she saw everything, and the artifact lay unharmed on the ground, having “drunk to the last drop”.
