Argivah is the agricultural kingdom surrounding Torregrises, ruled by its tyrant king Sabas: a countryside of farmland, villages, mills and satellite towns that feeds the capital and is governed by it.

Description
Its plate shows a river dividing cultivated valleys into plots toward the towers of Torregrises, a column of knights of the Great Hand on a dirt road and a roadside gallows. The banner of Argivah — light field, black open-palmed hand — bears the legend ARGIVAH — Bajo la Gran Mano de Sabas (“under the Great Hand of Sabas”).
The Great Hand, Sabas’s heraldic emblem, appears on standards, official seals and coins and is tattooed on the forearms of the Sabasians, the royal paramilitary force. The climate is continental, with dry summers and long, cutting winters; the land is river valleys, vineyard terraces, pastures and low woods, and the villages live off the river. A column of soldiers walks every road and a gallows stands in every square.
Structure
Its rural districts, reorganized whenever Sabas decides, each have lesser castles held by allied sorcerer families, serving as collection points (grain, sheep, wine, salt) and seats of summary courts, prisons and hangings. The regime relies on:
- the Sabasians, who watch roads, markets and borders;
- allied sorcerers, owners of the towers that give Torregrises its name, granted privileges and magical jurisdiction;
- hired killers and underground collaborators: dark elves, creatures of the roots;
- seasonal informants, such as Starco, hired and discarded.
The Sacred Order
Argivah fragilely tolerates the monasteries and routes of the Sacred Order, keeper of the old Pantheon’s memory. Sabas avoids open conflict but watches it; its members tend to fall to his hired killers working with dark elves, not to formal decree. Delgrante, an ally of the Order, fell this way.
