Andgara, the Black Forest of Andgara, is a forest of arboreal giants, a vegetal cathedral of sequoias under whose canopy nothing else can grow, in the world of the extinct sun, within Tanastias.
Arian grew up there for a hundred years under the tutelage of Valteran, without knowing his lineage, until he became an elf with violet eyes and blond hair. The elven masters are jealous of their blood and customs. Adimanto, a human, was not admitted and so sought instruction from Dietrus across the sea.
Founding incident
In chapter II, after quarreling with Valteran, Arian goes into the forest. A talking black panther, Veloria, seduces him into descending to the drow cavern, on the road to the Pact.
The gods of Andgara fought a war and were shut in the Abyss.
