Character

She paints the people of the scene, builds the bodies that go on stage, and painted the anarchy A in blood long before she had supernatural reasons to. She moves in the circuits of blood supply and prostitution but insists on paying and on asking permission; among takers, that defines her. She defends women before anyone.

Role

  • The alarm: first to react when the band is not yet a band. Hearing of trouble in the south, she raises the alert (“we are going to rescue one of our litter”) that sets the others moving.
  • Blood brother: she claims Aluc, the fellow musician, as blood brother (same sire, an Italian art dealer and Toreador who drives the only Rolls Royce in Buenos Aires), though he denies it in private.
  • The cabaret: with Carmen she spends three days undercover at the Saavedra cabaret, a secret party where anarchs and non-sanctos religious converge. They come out with: “we learned there is a very deep corruption.”
  • The occult: when the apparition of the broken organ (Claudia) manifests in the occupied church, Lilith comes down from the roof, where she likes to talk, and reads it: not a dream nor an ordinary ghost.
  • Erks: after the exodus she stays two years with Aluc beneath the Uritorco and builds with him the community of vampires and hippies of Erks, the first thing this band builds instead of destroying.

Appearances

The court of the Molino (the alarm); Santa Felicitas (the cabaret); the recital (the organ apparition); the exodus (Erks).
