Tel Demonio Catedral is not an entity of its own but an echo of the chronicle of the Fourth Circle of Hell: “accursed six-fingered demon who violated the cathedral”. That phrase pointed at once to the cathedral (the veiled virgin) and to the six-fingered demon who affronted her. The consolidation of Antiterra’s ending resolves the knot in layers.
Resolution
- The cathedral is Thel (Tel), the Blakean virgin, daughter of Arian, the last Lady of Pain.
- The “six-fingered demon” is not a single referent but a cluster of the lineage of the mark: Helter, who mutates to a sixth finger after the rite of the Vas; his begetter and artificer Elías; and Graz’zt, the rapist who claims paternity.
