The map
The map of Paris 1898 bears five red crosses — one per bomb, per brazier, per cultist — on the nodes of the underground ossuary, around churches, pantheons and catacombs (Catacombs of Paris) where the Pyrexians coordinate the detonation network. Read carefully, it shows where everything will explode and in what order; those who find it may still be in time to disarm the network.
The diagram
It shows sequence, priority and dependencies among the five points: not a street map but a map of time, the order in which things must burn.
The script fragment
Calligraphy in the cult’s own magigraphy. It is not read through vocabulary; it is felt burning by whoever stares at it, and marks the cult’s hand behind the operation.
