The Negotiation with the Giants of Ur was held between Hugues de Payens, the group and the giants of Ur over the security of the relics. It ended in an agreement to deposit them in the vaults of Ur.

Outcome
The relics were moved out of the Temple and an access protocol was set. Control of the relics now lies outside the Temple, at the price of dependence on extraplanar forces.
Timeline of the relic-theft day
- T+0: group emerges from the labyrinth (end of the day of the false Master; exact hour uncertain).
- T+12h: debriefing with Hugues de Payens in the Temple garden.
- T+24h: crypt investigation; discovery of the armor theft.
- T+36h: night attack in the crypt; death of Alexio.
- T+48h: burial of Alexio in a mosque.
- T+72h: negotiation with the giants; relics deposited.
- T+84h: end of the day; group in uncertainty.
Consequences
- Ärsvan is separated from the group, in the enemy camp beyond the Jordan.
- Alexio is dead and cannot take part in later days except by resurrection; the group loses its healer and is weakened.
- Elizabeth de Beauvois is introduced as a rival or complementary power to Hugo; an internal Temple faction is confirmed (Hugo against Elizabeth, at minimum).
- The relics are beyond the Temple’s direct reach.
- Josefo is introduced as a new member of operations (a potential companion).
- The group is one grade more seasoned (improved capabilities).
