Elizabeth de Beauvois is the leader of the Calced Carmelites, a relic researcher and a figure of power in the Temple. She first appears after the theft of relics at the Temple.
Description
A woman of authority. She takes an active part in the investigation of the Flamenco’s armor and in negotiations with the giants of Ur, and leads the investigation of the relics (“what it would imply at the level of magical protections”). She is openly critical of Ärsvan after his possession in the Day of the False Master. She appears close to Hugues de Payens but with independent power. After the theft she is alive and active at the Temple.
In the initial assault on the Temple she is mentioned as “Payns’s ex-wife” (unverified).
Open questions
- Is she an internal rival of Hugues de Payens (an institutional power struggle), an ally of Hugo, or part of an unknown third faction, possibly connected with demons?
