Gusano, also called Gonzago, is a scavenger and biopunk of the stronghold in the QUAR chronicle (2087, Age of the New World). He was the workshop partner of Zaa: together they built the improvised jailhouse-style weapons (armas tumberas) that armed the resistance, piece by piece, from what the quarantine left lying around.

History
Dignified and battered, he was reliable: a trusted henchman in every advance, riding his own motorbike and topping hills to spy on the enemy’s guarded compounds.
With a bad feeling, he begged Ángel García to come to the forest to save the wounded, and guided her to the clearing where the doctor met her death. He later accompanied Kreider when the whole bunker took to the rails on the armored train. In the desperate maneuver that split the train in two, Gusano fell from the convoy.
