Francis Le Pen is a young man tied to the Genesis Foundation who disappeared in dark circumstances. The group searches for him in the caves near Lake Michigan and finds him sacrificed by Kendall in an alchemical ritual that tears out a heart of lead, or of silver, according to the duality of the art. His body remains submerged in the caverns.
After his disappearance, his fiancée Emily Larson shows an accelerated pregnancy and arachnid features. Chantal searches for him insistently. The archive links him to Peter Martyr, his previous incarnation, who in turn may assist the detective Jean-Baptiste.
