The Blue Crown of War is the Khepresh, the pharaoh’s crown of war rather than ceremony, lost since the time of Akhenaten and hidden deep in the Temple of Thoth until December 1928.

It is small and not of gold but of leather or textile set with gems, with the uraeus (cobra) at the brow, and warm to the touch.

In the war chariot it completes a set with the composite bow and ibis-feathered arrows and the reins, tied at the waist. Crown, bow and reins decide who holds the power of war; the chariot works only for whoever assumes the full regalia, and three people have never shared it.

Camille, a spy of 1928, put it on, became the echo of a queen of three thousand years before, and shot the first arrow in thirty centuries at a German armored car. The Dagger of Thoth points toward the crown.
