Vault U-571 is a vault in the mercane city of the Misty Valley of Fiji, made from the walls of the prison cell where Graz’zt wrote, in his six-fingered claw script, the knowledge of the platform game and of dual magic.

The walls were torn out and mounted as a vault among eight legged vaults and eight portals. Whoever learns their forbidden knowledge has it erased in the Styx.
The Gem of Creation was deposited here after El Fabuloso’s betrayal. In 3,500 years the vault was breached once, by Demian’s party of eight. It was emptied when Sisi absorbed its whole lining into her blood.
Open questions
- Gras’s cell is Vault U-571, which is the Akashic cell Akasha kept sealed; the third term is unnamed.
