Beatriz Guerrero is a young artist and occultist of Cthulhu Buenos Aires, marked in the 1922 rite to Hastur and then disappeared. She shares the Guerrero blood of Felicitas.

A member of the esoteric study center of the Sons of Labor, she had been drifting toward the circle of Xul Solar and Borges. She was one of six at the rite (Ocampo country house, 20 April 1922).

In the vision of Carcosa she danced with the King in Yellow; when he unmasked, faceless, a claw tore her arm. She woke among the monoliths with a scar on her right arm and, weeks later, was pregnant, unsure what was real and what collective suggestion. Her family placed her in the convent of Santa Catalina de Siena to hide it.

From there the Blind took her, drugged with Black Lotus, to the La Madrileña boarding house in Once, passing her off as Rosaura, the invented girlfriend of the Rosaura a las diez painter Camilo Canegato. The ghost of Felicitas marked other women’s arms and left riddles to force her rescue: falta un huevo para la docena (“one egg short of the dozen”), pointing to Once (“eleven”).

She was never rescued. In the southern gesta (campaign-cycle) of 1966 her name resurfaces as a loose end: “a friend who disappeared forty years ago”.
