Role

The sect of the Blind, which occupies his boarding house, finds in his fantasy a perfect hiding place. When one-eyed Buscaglia needs to hide Beatriz in plain sight, he chooses the house where an imaginary Rosaura already exists. The kidnapped, drugged young woman is installed as Canegato’s girlfriend made real.

His fiction becomes the alibi for the crime: nobody suspects a woman whose arrival they had awaited for months. Canegato is a collateral victim of his own invention.
