Description
A faun of the first feyric world, weathered by the sun, with large horns and a morality foreign to the human. He gives two names, Citar first and Sati after (the wordplay sátiro/sitar is his), and declares: “he IS the island.” There is no government or king there, though he later admits there is a king. Ludovico calls it a “paradise of no-government”.
Role
- He warns the group not to go further (“I have seen many losses”). When they disobey and kill his lion golems, he summons a giant albatross that snatches the chest of eggs in midair. His cry: “Stop hurting the creatures of the island!”
- After peace is made, he accompanies the descent through the crystal tube. Of the demon possessing Karina he says: “when we defeat it, she will be freed.” He also uses suggestion on Atlantean guards.
