The White Roses of Rest are seven white roses that grew in the last chapel of the crypt of Ungarn; a priest or paladin can turn them against the evil that does not walk in daylight.

Description
They grew behind a gargoyle missing a wing, beyond a barrier of deadly spores and a guardian who took toll in life. “The key is behind a gargoyle: the white rose,” said Huilda. Each flower keeps its virtue for a day once picked and has more than one use: pinning a walking dead woman so that she receives the stake, or giving rest to one who asks for it.
History
The company of Sogol picked all seven. As the seventh left the stem, the chapel lost its light and all the vegetation there withered for good: it was the last beneficent focus of a domain that had no other. A victory at the price of a profanation.
One rose was spent in the forest at dawn so that Eliza could rest. The others travel with the company, most with Lirio, who tried in vain to make them germinate in consecrated ground in Nothenvell: in a city where the sacred never took root, the rose does not take.
