The Labyrinth is the secret work of Daedalus, the artificer and Doctor of Light: not a building but an organization built in the mind of man, a hidden architecture of galleries laid out in thought. “He did not trace it in stone or earth. He traced it where no one finds the way out: inside.”

Description
As the ancient labyrinth enclosed its monster, this one encloses and arranges something within those who inhabit it unknowingly. Its beast is the Dominotaur, the minotaur of this gesta at the center of the mental galleries; the Labyrinth exists largely to contain it. Daedalus’s other work stretches in orbit: the Icarus Space Station. The Labyrinth is laid over the minds of New York.
