Guardian of Green Fire is a female entity wrapped in green flames, partly incorporeal, who appears during the combat in Constantinople in the Uchronic Paris chronicle.
Characteristics
- Green flames envelop her form.
- She flies at high speed.
- She is partly incorporeal; physical attacks may not affect her.
- She is a shrewd negotiator.
- She promises to return “tomorrow”.
Conflicting accounts
- One account presents her as part of the attacking group (the red merchants).
- Another describes her as fiercely protective of Thomas Cole.
Open questions
- Her nature is unclear: possibly a romantic partner, a magical familiar or a guardian assigned to Thomas Cole. Her spiritual or elemental nature suggests a non-human origin.
