Role
- His bar is a listening post: while serving he takes notes under the counter. He takes notes on Teddy, a spy spying on a spy, and reports to Morand.
- His arc ends at dawn on the day of the escape, when Teddy knocks him out from behind with an iron frying pan and steals his notebook: “Lo siento. No, en realidad no.” (“I’m sorry. No, not really.“) Teddy neutralizes the threat and takes the intelligence.
- Earlier, in Cairo, Teddy had already beaten a bartender.
His neutralization opens the escape of the trio across the Red Desert.
