Dian Cecht is a Celtic deity of healing, worshiped by Egas.
In Señores de York (“Lords of York”), Egas repeatedly invokes Dian Cecht to heal the wounded: “Oh, Dian Cecht, my Lady!” The power granted allows healing by the laying on of hands, which earns Egas the title “Saint Egas, she who heals with her hands.”
His cult coexists with Christianity in Monkchester, creating religious tension between Egas (pagan) and Dolores (Christian).
