The Crypt of the Temple is a set of underground Templar crypts where alchemists work, on the lower levels of the Temple (Complex, TE). It is reached from zone 20 of the map (the stables and giant shed).
It is a hidden workspace where Master Glaucom and his collaborators carried out their research out of the Order’s reach. Hugues de Payens is the Order’s superior, but the crypts operate outside his direct authority.
A plan of the subterranean levels shows the Crypt’s main hall, the Treasury Chamber, a bridge over the vein of water that crosses the stone, the Laboratory and the Storehouse. An underground river runs toward a seal marked in red.
