London is the city-kingdom of the devils — “London is infernal, the kingdom of devils” — and a capital where the workers’ movement holds “almost more than 50%” of Parliament. It is a fixed pole of the map, complementary to Electric Venice: “there they have their seat of power. That’s the seat.”

Infernal seat
London is the devils’ administrative center, and a devil keeps his main embassy there; all dealings with hell pass through it. It is said, wrapped in “possibly” and “they say”, that London managed “to directly open a permanent hell portal” by means of ancient Atlantean manuscripts “that were found, or that surfaced again”. No other permanent portal is recorded in the world.
Political capital
Socialists control almost more than half of Parliament. Karl Marx lives there, “closely followed by the secret police”, who do not arrest him, and “the next important meetings” of the movement are called there.
Platform of Virgo
Among the zodiacal platforms spread across the world, London holds Virgo, whose guardian has already been conjured («ya hay conjurado»). Nothing ties it to the devils or Parliament.
The Butcher of Morgan Street
A serial killer who “enters houses”, contemporary with the events of Paris — the city of the first freed by the Regulators, in 1889. Nothing ties him to the devils, the portal or Parliament.

- Whether the devils caused, tolerate or use the socialists.
- Whether the portal is fact or rumor; where it is and whether it is visible.
- Where the Virgo platform lies and which guardian was conjured.
- Whether the Butcher is man, devil or creature: voices call him a serial killer, catalogs list him among creatures.
- An epithet, “the daughter of the trident and the infernal shield”, rests on a garbled phrase («london se llamaba pero ahora está pura», “it was called London but now it is pure”).
