The virtual reality helmet (VR helmet, HUD visor) is a visor that connects people to the Master: whoever puts one on opens the mind to the other reality, and the other reality looks back.
In the quarantine it is both escape and leash. Through these helmets the system plugs in the arcade soldiers, who believe they are playing a video game while they go out to kill real insurgents.
