Seamless Suits are garments without a single visible seam, made by a non-human intelligence and kept as a relic in a house on the Malvinas; they are the first object of the Mythos in their gesta (campaign-cycle).
| Type | Object |
| Location | A house on the Malvinas Islands |
| Spanish entry | Trajes sin costura |
Description
The garments have no visible seams and close with something resembling Velcro that is not Velcro. In one of the island’s houses they are kept as an heirloom, not as clothing. Those who know them explain: “they are from an ancient one, from millions of years ago; they taught us these things.”
Significance
They are the first object of the Mythos in the gesta: the horror of the Malvinas enters through clothing rather than through a book or grimoire.
The “they” who taught the craft are the amphibious lineage of the Esoteric Order of Dagon, who call themselves the Deep Ones, heirs in turn of something older: an ancient one from millions of years ago, one of the powers that dream beneath reality. The garments are the first material sign of that lineage, before the Order is named. The blue stone and the hybrid son who returns to the water are later signs of the same thing.
Relationships
- The craft of the Ancients is noted as resonating with the oceanic lineage of Antiterra, the other Earth waiting beneath the water. This is a candidate bridge, not a certainty.
- Operativo Cóndor is the historical threshold through which newcomers come near these relics.
