The Flying Serpent of the Valley is a giant violet creature about twelve meters long, with a single wing that lets it fly against all logic, no arms or legs and no visible eyes. It is a hunter of horror and a servant of the creeping Chaos that comes even from space.

Battle
Sorcerers allied with Chaos conjured it, and it fell from the sky onto the group in the dragon graveyard of the Valley of Death. It attacked Corvino by wrapping him in its coils. When badly wounded it secreted viscous acid, and when struck it turned invisible through a magical contingency. Swan, Corvino and their companions defeated it together.
Aftermath
On the skin of the wing Swan found a star map that turned orange: the treasure would await in Aldebaran. When the group spoke with its corpse, the creature confirmed an extraplanar or stellar origin.
