Sanzón (also Sansón) is an immense giant who appears beside the guillotine in Uchronic Paris, in the gesta (campaign-cycle) of Pretty Women. He “ran at the side and as if he did not want to see what he had to see.”
He meets his end in the rift after the angel strikes him with a sword. The recap at Montbron confirms the scene: “the giant Samson, killed by the angel in the rift,” the executioner-giant beheaded beside the guillotine.
