The King in Yellow / Carcosa is the larger cosmic frame that emerges in the MYM chronicle behind the planet-corporations, the traffic in divinity and the New York disguised as its own past: the King in Yellow and his city, Carcosa.

| Spanish entry | Carcosa (Never 9-11) |
The frame
Not one more enemy on the scale of villains, but the ultimate form in which the world lets itself be seen: the backdrop that shows when the set of the city-world thins. Where other powers want to regulate or deify, the King in Yellow frames, closing the horizon like a yellow sky under which all else is scenery. Earth-212’s history has, outside it, an owner who does not govern but presides.
The Lethal Chamber
A monument of state euthanasia: a public work consecrated to giving death, where the citizen goes to be switched off by the State with full solemnity.
The three Moirai
Oracle-statues, the ancient Fates turned monument, one facing the past, one the present, one the future, each guarding her stretch of thread.
