The Lunar Naga is a creature of the Los Condenados (“the Condemned”) chronicle waiting on a rock at a tunnel crossroads in the caverns beneath the city of the waterfalls.

Her voice fascinates. She held the two Sortian eyes (gold and sapphire) which awaken the carved face with empty sockets, a node of the ancients that moves travelers without crossing the stone. She opposes the solar monopoly of the Pope and desires midnight; opening her Circuit requires two keys held by the Priscians.

For the eyes, she demanded the company’s most precious possession,, which her fascination revealed: the fruit of the tree, the core of the whole plan. Los Condenados gave it in pledge, and she guarded it as promised.

She later stood beside Lady Deino’s throne in the fungal court, with those seeking to break the lock of the sun. After the alliance, the egg returned to those who carried it to the Well of Light. She was its last keeper before the arena, and the only one who held it without using it.
