Son of Liberty (Hijo de la libertad) is a revolutionary archetype: a sympathizer or active insurgent in the era of the American War of Independence. It is contemporary with the Hessian General, who acts as a figure of the Revolution in the Antiterra version (New York, 1784). The archetype emerges on the horizon after the Descent as a figure of liberation.
