The Great Serpent is a creature or artifact found in the coffins of the Shawnee burial site. The coffins bear wampum and silver engravings, and the organs are malformed. It is the first link in the serpentine thread of the gesta (campaign-cycle).
Connections: the Silver Chains, the serpentine pattern of the figure of the second circle, the Iroquois Viper, and Sequoia, who sealed them.
