The Iroquois Viper (La Víbora Iroquesa), also the Iroquois Ambassador, is an antagonist and shapeshifter: an ambassador of the Five Nations whose true form is a giant humanized serpent (an anaconda with arms) wielding two Turkish scimitars. In Lenape, “Iroquois” means “viper.”
Powers and abilities
Infernal fire, barriers of thorns, a Charm of Luck, possible regeneration, and a bite. It wounded Warhol and Nicaramsa. It is also shown as a hooded sorceress with a serpent’s tail.
Role
It belongs to a serpentine thread: first the Great Serpent, then the pattern of the figure of the second circle, then the serpentine Captain, and finally the Viper at the Battle of the Mill.
Open questions
- Is it connected to The Serpent of Uchronic Paris, a chaotic entity of protean nature?
