History
The owner died in circumstances nobody clarified, and his will disappeared. The lawyers, pressured and nervous, auctioned his collection as quickly as possible. Two things came out of the house that drive the whole chronicle: the Dagger of Thoth and suspicion.
The estate is also the setting of the auction and of the earlier fire at the warehouse that held the professor’s books. He maintained that real Egyptian religion was much older than the one taught by renowned Egyptologists.
Open questions
- The whereabouts of the lost will are unknown; Camille Colbert is its probable beneficiary.
