With her musketeers scattered, she still played the great game, collected twelve black hosts, and cast no reflection.
Besieged by Les Libertateurs (Praglava–Paris arc, 1715–1717), she teleported away, leaving a mirror creature and the host eaten by Magda. The Bastille poker game, she revealed, was the qualifier for the game of the platforms (twenty-four hosts, two guardians per sign), and the fallen queens were secretly allied against the dark power and the patriarchal old regime. Given a host, she offered to annul Oratiol’s contract for a copy, and returned her host to the table via a veiled woman. Her house was allied with Queen Elizabeth’s: “arcane forces and revolution”.
