The Priest is a Catholic seminarian aboard the flight that Operativo Cóndor diverted to the Malvinas on 28 September 1966 — the threshold character of the islands’ gesta, through whose eyes it opens. He is known only by his office.

Description
He boards in a cassock, with his mass kit on his shoulder and a guitar lent by Camila. Faith and patriotism do not hinder each other in him: planting a flag on the peat and celebrating mass are two faces of one devotion.
The door to horror
His threshold is not a forbidden book but an advertisement read in LIFE magazine — the Rosicrucians, the promise of an “inner vision”. That innocent curiosity is the first crack through which what the brotherhood prepares under the islands begins to seep in: behind island hospitality wait the Esoteric Order of Dagon and the cult awaiting Cthulhu. “Choose your LIFE”: each finds a crack toward the Mythos on a different page of that magazine; his is the Rosicrucian way.
