The Black Cathedral is an undocumented location where the Supra Father was tortured by El Negro. It is his prison: a space outside ordinary geography, possibly in some abyssal plane or confinement semiplane, where he is tortured perpetually so that El Negro can perpetuate himself through the eons. El Negro penetrated the Supra Father here for that purpose.
In the cosmology of the cycle, the Supra Father’s wound in this place is the reason the temporal cycle needs closure.
