Eagle Pass (Paso del Águila) is a double border crossing between Texas and Coahuila in Antiterra, 1888, and the delivery point where the dragon waits for the children to be brought to it.

On the Mexican side lies Piedras Negras, of dark stone because of obsidian pylons; on the US side, Eagle Pass, Texas.

Warning

The warning ties the dragon’s waiting point to the Guardian, the figure always present in the area, so Eagle Pass is the point to avoid. Instead, the Camino del Guerrero is recommended: a railway crossing the border unharmed, from Zaragoza through San Carlos and Palestina to Ciudad Acuña and the river.

Notes list the Texas Frontier Rangers as Eagle Pass, among border posts with aerial sirens and eagle men “like those of Flash Gordon”, and the image of a maiden “like a chained Statue of Liberty”.
