The Avatars of Death are human-sized manifestations summoned by the Jack of Clubs of the Deck of Many Things. Three appeared at once, one beside each of three companions, and all three were destroyed.
Properties
- Fear, enchantment, paralysis, lightning and fainting do not affect them.
- Whoever dies by their hand dies a final death, with no possible return, not even by the lamp.
- Their touch rots the flesh.
Defeat
The group destroyed them quickly, in two assaults, by combining forces: the sacred punishment of Helter, the hunter’s mark and the grip of Bertrand, the spiritual guardians of the figure of the second circle, and the axe of Sven.
